Born in Melbourne Australia, immigrated to New Zealand when 13 with mother. My father is cousin of Peter Brock who grew up together like brothers on the Brock family farm near where the family still lives. My step father used to rally Vauxhalls and circuit race Viva HBs hence my interest in Vauxhalls he later competed in Targa NZ and Rally NZ as co driver for Grant Aitken in Suzuki rally cars affiliated with Nobihiru 'Monster' Tajima. Later competing and winning the Borneo offroad safari in a Suzuki Vitara works car. My step father bought me and my older brother a chevette for our first car and the rest is history.
